I have collected a few of my learning technlogies and eLearning projects here. For further references and all foundational or Intelligent transport systems related projects, please refer to publications.
eLab – Video Learning Laboratory:
The eLab is a state-of-the-art video learning laboratory developed at UAS Technikum Wien to empower educators and students through high-quality digital teaching resources. It serves as the central production and distribution hub for didactic videos, interactive formats, and blended learning modules across disciplines.

Key aspects of the eLab include:
- A fully equipped, professional recording and editing studio
- Scalable workflows for lecture capture, explainer videos, and AR/VR content
- Didactic design tailored to STEM education
- Support for accessibility, multilingual narration, and integration into learning platforms
- Open interfaces for cooperation with international partner institutions
🎓 Use & Impact:
With hundreds of video units produced annually, the eLab supports flipped classrooms, self-paced learning, and cross-university sharing. It has become a lighthouse project in digital education and won multiple eLearning awards for its innovative infrastructure and pedagogical value.
Blended Learning Platform:
This open educational resource was developed to support students in STEM degree programs by providing interactive, multilingual learning materials in mathematics and physics. The platform integrates didactically structured content, explainer videos, self-assessments, and visual tools that allow learners to engage with abstract concepts at their own pace and according to their individual learning needs.
Key features include:
- Clear, modular content structure based on university curricula
- Custom-developed video explanations and animations
- Interactive elements such as quizzes and downloadable worksheets
- Full accessibility and device compatibility
- Designed for preparatory, bridging, and support learning phases

The platform has become a central tool in blended and flipped classroom models at UAS Technikum Wien and has been adopted by several partner institutions.
🎓 Award-Winning Innovation:
In recognition of its impact, the platform received the International eLearning Award (IELA) in the category Blended Learning and was honored for its open-access design and learner-centered approach.

Photonics Explorer: Learning Videos:
The Photonics Explorer is a curriculum-integrated photonics kit developed for secondary school students across Europe. Each kit includes a complete classroom set of robust and versatile optical components for hands-on experiments with 25–30 students. It is accompanied by a comprehensive didactic framework consisting of worksheets, fact sheets, teacher guides, and multimedia materials. Designed to seamlessly complement and enrich existing European science curricula, the kit is distributed to science teachers as part of a structured training program.
As part of this initiative, I produced a series of instructional videos to support the effective use of the Photonics Explorer kit in classroom settings:
Vector AR3 – An interactive Augmented Reality app for vectors in 3D:
Mathematical augmented reality content at university level represents an innovation that can set significant impulses for the digitalization of teaching. With the Vector AR3 App it is possible to display and manipulate vectors and surfaces in 3D space using augmented reality to demonstrate the impact of Augmented reality on higher education. The app has won the eLearning AWARD 2020 in the category “University” and the International eLearning Awards (IELA) 2020, category “Mobile Learning”
